1. Overview

Asia Move Check (“we”, “us”, “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

Asia Move Check assesses relocation fit across 35 destinations in 8 countries. The quiz asks about your income, savings, health needs and work situation in order to produce that assessment. Those answers are stored against your session so your result can be regenerated, and they are not sold or shared for advertising.

2. Information We Collect

Quiz answers

When you complete the assessment, we collect your responses to the quiz questions. These answers are used to generate your personalized result and are stored on our servers to produce and deliver your report.

Email address

We ask for your email address before displaying your free result. We use this to send you a confirmation email if you purchase the Full Report, and to send you a link to your report. We do not add you to a marketing list without your separate consent.

Payment information

If you purchase the Full Report, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider or merchant of record. We do not see or store your full card number. We may receive limited transaction information such as your email address, payment status, transaction ID, amount paid, and purchase date for order confirmation, report access, refunds, and support. The payment provider's own privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

Technical data

We may collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and referring URL through standard server logs or analytics tools. This is used solely for security and site performance purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and display your personalized assessment result
• To deliver the Full Report by email if purchased
• To send a purchase confirmation email
• To respond to support enquiries
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To improve the service over time using aggregated, non-identifiable data

We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy or as required by law.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your quiz answers, email address, and result data are stored in Google Firestore (Firebase), a cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

No method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people move through the site. It sets cookies in your browser, typically named _ga and one beginning _ga_, and it records which pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and which site sent you here. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run ad retargeting.

We do not send your quiz answers, your email address or your report to Google. The identifier that appears in your result link is removed before any analytics event is sent, so an analytics record cannot be used to open your report.

We also use session-based browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to keep your quiz state and result across page navigation. That data stays in your browser.

If you would rather not be measured at all, any browser-level tracking block or ad blocker will stop the analytics script loading, and nothing on the site depends on it.

6. Data Retention

We retain quiz answers and result data for a reasonable period to support report delivery and customer support. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove your personally identifiable information from our records within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Third-Party Services

This site may use the following third-party services:

• PayPal: payment processing
• Google Firebase / Firestore: data storage
• Google Analytics: site usage measurement
• Netlify: website hosting
• Namecheap Private Email: sending email to the address you provide

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
